Marcus Collins-" Zayn and Perrie had a spark from the day they met!"

Fellow X Factor contestant Marcus Collins has said there was a spark between newly-engaged Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards from the day they met.

One Direction’s Zayn and Little Mix’s Perrie – both former X Factor artists – became engaged earlier this month.

Speaking on ITV’s Lorraine today, Marcus – who finished runner-up to Little Mix on the eighth series of X Factor – said:

“I remember the first day they met, there was a certain spark then as well. She seems so happy, both of them do so I wish them all the best.”

Perrie set tongues wagging about a possible engagement when she turned up at the One Direction movie premiere on 20 August sporting a large diamond ring on her engagement finger.

 ZAYN HAD POPPED THE QUESTION TO HIS ‘WINGS’ SINGER GIRLFRIEND THE WEEKEND BEFORE.
