Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has lost more than two stone and dropped from a size 12 to a size 6, according to a newspaper report.
Jesy – who won The X Factor with her band mates in 2011 – is said to have shed the weight through a regime of strict physical exercise, despite having said in the past that she was happy with her shape.
The Mirror quoted a source close to the band as saying: “She’s lost just over 2 stone since The X Factor.
“Jesy started working out and doing more abdominal work – she got a trainer that she shared with the other girls and worked out three or four days a week.
“The band are breaking the US at the moment and there is pressure on the girls to look perfect.”
The 22-year-old, from Romford in Northeast London, has admitted to having been bullied in the past over her weight – including while she was on the TV talent show.
She said at the time: “It’s something I’d experienced at school before – about my weight and just generally how I look. And that’s also why I got so upset – I thought once I got older it would stop, but it obviously hasn't.
“When’s it going to stop? People shouldn't be allowed to do things like that. I think whoever called me that should feel bad about it.
“I’m a size 10/12. I know that I’m not fat. I’m not going to change.”
